Objectives
To provide monitoring services to detect the quality of drinking water and ensure the supply of quality water is uninterrupted, ensure water supply materials attain a high level of quality and meet the fixed specifications, ensure the optimum safety of all water supply dams in the country, decrease the amount of water loss in Malaysia and assist in disseminating information about water supply.
Functions
1. To provide monitoring services to detect the quality of drinking water so that the supply of quality water is constant;
2. To ensure materials used in water supply industries attain a high level of quality and meet fixed specifications;
3. To ensure the water supply dams in Malaysia are of a high level of safety;
4. To reduce the level of water loss throughout Malaysia.
